Teen Worldbuilding | Ages: Teens

Teen Worldbuilding | Ages: Teens

Do you love imagining richly detailed fantasy and sci-fi worlds? Are you curious about how writers create systems of magic, invent new cultures and languages, or design entirely new biologies? In this camp, participants will explore the art of worldbuilding and learn how to create worlds that feel alive, complex, and believable. Each student will develop the building blocks of an original fictional world, which may include a map, characters, illustrations, environmental details, “rules” for how the world works, and the beginnings of one or more stories.
