Apart from money and heirlooms, what do you want to give your loved ones so they will remember, appreciate, and learn from you for generations to come? In this one-session workshop, you’ll learn to write a creative, engaging, and heartfelt legacy letter to a loved one. We’ll explore the depth and breadth of the life you’ve lived as well as the values and blessings you wish to impart. And if you never send the letter, your writing will bring you closer to others and generate meaningful, even surprising, self-revelation. So bring a friend, a pen, and a notebook, and get ready to express what you hold most dear.

You will engage with short readings by beloved authors; discuss themes, techniques, and forms to help you grow as a reader and writer; and be inspired to begin writing on such topics as home, friendship, profession, obsession, beliefs, advice, and blessings.
