Supporting both youth and adult activities as Programs Associate, Clara loves being part of the team that brings the magic of creative writing to learners of all ages and backgrounds. Clara first came to Writers & Books as a SummerWrite camper, then interned with SummerWrite in 2016, worked as Coordinator in 2019, and ran Ampersand Books and assisted the Executive Director 2019-2024. They’re a big believer in the importance of imagination and slowing down, with a great fondness for snails, art journaling, and queer speculative fiction.
