Do you have an idea for a juicy plot, an intriguing setting, or a fascinating character? Maybe you already have a story in progress! You’ll learn techniques that published writers use to hook their readers, and have an opportunity to get feedback on your work. At the first session, we will identify which aspects of writing the group wishes to focus on, allowing the teaching artist to tailor each week to the students’ individual goals. Together we will create a community where you can express yourself and gain new skills. Walking field trips will take place on Week 3 and Week 5, as determined by the group.

If your scholarship application is declined or the award does not meet your need, please email [email protected] with the subject line “Saturday Camp Scholarship” to discuss an adjustment.
