Readings

Readings & Special Events

Writers & Books hosts two ongoing reading series.

Our Visiting Authors Series welcomes authors from all over the country to read from a new release and have a conversation with a colleague, journalist, or expert. These readings are always hosted virtually and often take place in-person in our theater as well. To watch recordings of past Visiting Authors Series events, check out our Youtube channel.

Our Literary Partners Series welcomes authors with deep connections to Monroe County, the Finger Lakes, or Western NY regions to present their new book and sell copies through our bookstore, Ampersand Books. These readings are always held in-person in our theater.

  • We also host panels, book talks, documentary screenings, and other special events. Find everything we have to offer below.
