Kiik Araki-Kawaguchi is a novelist, poet, and educator. His debut novel The Book of Kane and Margaret (FC2, 2019) was one of Jeff VanderMeer’s “favorite reads of this or any year.” Published by Piżama Press in May 2025, Disintegration Made Plain and Easy is in a second printing.
Benjamin Niespodziany is a Chicago-based writer, editor, curator, and folklorist. The author of two books, his writing has appeared in Indiana Review, Booth, Bennington Review, Conduit, Fence, and elsewhere. Along with hosting the Neon Night Mic reading series, he recently launched Piżama Press.
